Terms and Conditions of the POWER! Inc. suite of web applications

Using this site means you agree to these terms and conditions.

Definitions:

Spamming: Sending text and/or image content either (a) for no reason; (b) to annoy other members, including Administrators; or (c) to (attempt) to crash the server. This may or may include reposting previous messages. Note that images have more spam value than text, as a single image is equivalent to multiple lines of text.
This site: This site covers this entire domain on which this page is hosted on, which includes, but is not limited to the eChat, PNote, LiteWrite and Tank Wars 2000.
Reposting: Reposting means repeatedly sending messages which have been already sent previously, either by yourself or by others. Resent messages can be identical word-for-word, or can be slightly modified. Repeated reposting counts as spam.

Rules:

Spamming is prohibited throughout this site. Heavy profanity and other inappropriate content are banned across this site. Attempts to bypass security measures are also banned.

Violation or rule-bending of any of these rules (above and below) may lead to a temporary account suspension. Repeated violations may lead to permanent account deletion. Administrators have the right to enforce these rules at their discretion.

Chat history may or may not be stored for archival purposes. In the event of a DDoS or similar attack, we may begin collecting IP addresses to help us neutralise the threat.

The Administrator may listen to appeals for bans, but is under no obligation to follow them.

Amendments to these rules may be made by the Administrator at any time, and are equally valid.

Please read the FAQ before asking questions/submitting bugs. If you cannot be bothered to read the FAQ, then I don't want to hear your complaints.

Information regarding the PNote and LiteWrite

The PNote and LiteWrite stores data in an encrypted format. All that the server can see is how long your notes are. However, if we are getting reports that your data violates the previous rules (especially on spamming), we may be forced to take action, which includes the deletion of your note/document.

POWER! Inc. and Abel Budiono accept no liability or responsibility for anything that might happen to you, your superior, your family, your class, etc. e.g. failing a test, getting distracted, etc. By using this site you agree to take full responsibility for the actions you do here.

Cookies

Cookies are used by this site for it to function. By using this site you are consenting to the usage of cookies. Please note that our cookies are not used for marketing, analytics or tracking.

Closing notes

All in all, if you just use the service as was intended, you should not need to be too worried about violating any of these rules :)
